Mission Statement
Collective Action Network (C.A.N.) exists to expand access to holistic care by addressing the social, emotional, and material needs of individuals and families.
As an extension of Culture Collective Counseling, C.A.N. goes beyond the limits of traditional therapy by providing tangible goods, essential resources, and community-based support systems that help people not only heal — but thrive.
We believe mental wellness cannot exist in isolation from basic needs, economic stability, and collective care. Our mission is to bridge those gaps through action.
About Us
Collective Action Network (C.A.N.) was founded on a simple truth: therapy alone is not always enough.
While Culture Collective Counseling provides culturally responsive mental health services, many individuals and families continue to face barriers that directly impact their ability to heal — housing instability, food insecurity, financial hardship, lack of access to transportation, and limited community support.
C.A.N. was created to respond to those realities.
We are a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole person and the whole family. Through resource coordination, direct assistance, partnerships, and community programming, we work to ensure that individuals have access not only to emotional support, but also to the tangible tools necessary for stability and growth.
Our work includes:
- Providing essential goods and emergency assistance
- Connecting families to housing, employment, and educational resources
- Supporting youth and families through community-based initiatives
- Partnering with local organizations to close systemic gaps in care
At Collective Action Network, we understand that wellness is collective. When we invest in the stability of one family, we strengthen the entire community.
